After craving a savory Caesar to ring in the new year I ran straight to the liquor cabinet. The only vodka in sight was stashed in the corner – Effen Cucumber Vodka. Now realize, this bottle had been hanging around for years because I was at a loss on what to do with it. Overly cucumber, it edged on being nearly unbearable. What was a girl to do?
Forge ahead…that is what I chose to do. Surprisingly enough, what I came up with was pretty darned good! They key was making it the dirtier the better.
DIRECTIONS
Fill a tall glass with ice and add the following:
- 3-5 splashes Of Brenarsky’s Lot 40 Gourmet Seasoning
- 3 shakes of Celery Salt
- 3 large spoonfuls of Dill Pickle Brine
- 1 piece of Bacon
- 1 large Olive
- 2oz (1/4 cup) Effen Cucumber Vodka (or plain vodka if you have it)
- Fill remaining space with your choice of Clamato or Tomato Juice
If you like more spice, feel free to add some Tabasco. No Brenarsky’s? Add some Worcestershire Sauce instead. Want more goodies? Add anything from pickled okra, pickled baby corn, dill pickles, celery, shrimp on a skewer…the possibilities are endless my friend! Stir, sip and enjoy!
